Moris Dime why? "The goal of Moris Dime is to preserve and enhance the memory of the heritage of know-how, trades and our environment, as well as to create a collaborative experience through Art," says its founder. In the end, will Moris Dimé, through his initiatives, develop Mauritian citizenship and engage him in sustainable ways?

Moris Dime did what? Since the announcement of the creation of Moris Dime live on the MBC on October 29, 2016 (500 days before the 50th anniversary of Independence of Mauritius), and since the official launch evening at Cannon Beachcomber in Pointe aux Canonniers on 17 November 2016, a lot happened. French personalities Diego Buñuel, star of the small screen and the world of travel since the launch of the New Explorers on Canal + and grandson of the famous director Luis Buñuel, was present in Mauritius from 10 to 22 December to support the Moris project Dimé, with the aim of making it spread abroad. On the artistic side, serious things began on February 17, 2017 with the launch of a "digital time capsule", an itinerant container for an exciting citizen project whose ambassador is the young star Mauritian Jane "The Voice" Constance. "The container, transformed into a recording studio and inside the Mauritian salon, will tour the island and Rodrigues. The younger generation will have the opportunity to leave a 30-second message about their future Mauritian dream. All these messages will then be encapsulated in a jewel and will be revealed in ... 25 years! "Explains Axel Ruhomaully. The capsule is currently calling, until May 21, in Tamarin.

April 1, 2017 Moris Dime launched SAT (Street Art Together), a recurring street art event sponsored by Mauritian artist Gael Froget, which aims to color the walls of the capital Port Louis with the help of the general public. After the magnificent walls of the Porlwi by Light festival, the Mauritian capital attracts - and it is good - more and more urban art. Street Art's big names are announced over a year (read later) and a book of all the Street Art works produced in 2017 by Moris Dime will be published in 2018. Stroll to Caudan, you can already see the impact Of the SAT.

The idea? Make the Mauritians aware of the environment and waste. It is in 2018 that his work will be unveiled through a traveling exhibition on the island and the publication of a photographic work. Sure that the artistic and social impact will go beyond the borders of Mauritius. This makes some positive initiatives for Mauritius ... and there will be others!
